Forestry Incentive Program(FIP) - The FIP's objective is to increase the nation's supply of timber products with emphasis on increasing the future supply of timber, continued sustained yield, multipurpose management of private forest land, cost effectiveness of forest improvement practices and enhancing other forest resources including fish and wildlife habitat and water supply.
Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program(WHIP) - The WHIP's objective is to provide technical assistance to eligible participants regarding the development of Wildlife Habitat Development Plans and implementation of authorized practices under WHIP. The program also includes incentives for the purpose of enhancing upland wildlife habitat, wetland wildlife habitat, threatened and endangered species habitat, fisheries, and other types of wildlife habitat on eligible land.
